The other witness, Mary Coigley, turns out to be (probably) the mother in law of a Joseph Devenny, journeyman tailor, who married an Ann Coigley in Liverpool in 1839. Mary, her children and son in law, were all living in Islington, Liverpool, in 1841, pretty near to William and Jane Kneen.

John Frowde was also nearby, in a household of journeymen and apprentice tailors, at least 2 of whom were Manx.

Unfortunately there's no real lead on Jane Rowen / Rowan's family, other than the poorly-written 1841 household already mentioned.
