Thanks Jean - there is certainly a lot to digest but I feel I may be getting nearer to finding William's family. I am still wondering whether John Kneen and Ann Quayle or John Kneen and Jane Kermode are other possibles. It will be interesting to see if the wills you mentioned show anything.
