Thanks very much to Carol Gosselin for compiling this Corkill family information for the Thomas D. Corkill decendents. Thomas D. Corkill Senior was my great, great grandfather. His son, Thomas D. Junior (a volunteer for Illinois in the Civil War) was the half-brother of my great grandmother Maria (pronounced Mah-rye-ah) Corkill Brott, wife of Simon D. Brott (last of 15 children of Charles Nicholas Brott). Both are shown at the end of your list. Their second-to-last child Ernest Brott was my grandfather (died in Colorado 1969) - He married Leona Englebrecht (of Manitowoc, WI) and together had four children: Carol, Victor, Mary Ellen, and Lester. My mother was Mary Ellen Brott who married my father, Herbert Charles Goltz in 1941.
