Re: MI please KELLY in Michael
In Response To: Re: MI please KELLY in Michael ()

Thanks for looking, Donna. I noticed in censuses that there were a lot of households living in Glenwyllan, including other Kellys and Quayles.

William Kelly and Elizabeth Quayle (marr.1833) had a large family, although several children's extracted bapts on the IGI have been replaced by church members' entries. With William (42) farm lab. and Elizabeth (38) in the 1851 census were their children Elizabeth 15 (bapt 27 Jan 1836), William 12, Ann 8, Catherine 7, Eleanor 5, and John 3. In 1861 Wm 52 ag lab, Eliz 49, were with their children John 13, Jane 11 (bapt 27 Apr.1851), Margret 8 (Margaret Louisa bapt 26 July 1853), and Thomas 4 (bapt 26 Jan 1857). All bapts Michael.
In 1841 they were in Ballagawn, Michael, Wm Kelly 30 Ag lab, Elizabeth 25 (1841 census adult ages rounded), Elizabeth 5 & Wm 3.

The granddaughter "Rubina Jane Enos" aged 5 with William & Elizabeth in the 1871 census was Robina Jane bapt 2 May 1865 Kirk Michael, daur of William INNIS & Eleanor.
Wm ENNIS & Ellen Kelly (who was aged 5 in the 1851 census) married 29 June 1864 Braddan.
