Re: Thomas KELLY & Isabella McDONALD

Further to my last message, this is the family in the 1901 census:

KELLY, William Son Single M 12 1889 Michael Isle of Man
KELLY, Harry Son Single M 9 1892 Michael Isle of Man
KELLY, Alice Daughter F 4 1897 Michael Isle of Man
KELLY, Wilomena Daughter F 2 1899 Michael Isle of Man

RG number:RG13 Piece:5300 Folio:29 Page:1
Registration District:Isle of Man Sub District: Enumeration District:4 Ecclesiastical Parish:Kirk Michael Civil Parish:Kirk Michael Municipal Borough:
Address:
Glen Wyllin, Kirk Michael County:Isle of Man

It is interesting that by 1901 all the children are known by their second names, except for William, and recorded with only the one (second) forename. Perhaps Ann or Annie was a second name, and her birth is recorded as something Annie? (If you don't think it was the one I found.)

In the 1891 census they were in Glenwyllyn:
KELLY, Isabella Head Married F 21 1870 Scotland
KELLY, William Son M 2 1889 Kirk Michael Isle of Man
KELLY, Isabella A Daughter F 1 (18M) 1890 Kirk Michael Isle of Man

RG number:RG12 Piece:4683 Folio:132 Page:1
Registration District: Isle of Man Sub District:B Enumeration District:4 Ecclesiastical Parish:West Quarter. Civil Parish:Kirkmichael Address:

This rang a bell, and I see there was a long thread about Glenwyllyn in 2007. See:

This thread was started by Dennis Kelly who you were attempting to contact through his other thread, so you are definitely looking at the same family. See also his message:
