I’ve found a Catherine Crowe, born 1879, Michael IOM. On the 1901 Census she is working in Hoylake as a servant (cook). Her mother is an Eleanor Crowe and she also has a sister called Eleanor Crowe. Bar the name she is a very good match to the criteria of my Eleanor Crowe, but of course her name is wrong. I think its unlikely that she would have lied on the birth certificate, but I’d like to rule her out of my potential Crowe’s!

I have found her on 1181 – 1901 Census, but not on the 1911 census. Does anyone have any record of her marriage, I’m hoping she got married prior to 1905 so I can rule her out?
