Re: Adam Caine family of Kk Michael

Dear Ms. Coakley and Ms. Douglas,

I have been terribly busy with Mother, she was doing poorly and in a Nursing Center for Rehab. and we now hope she can return home tomorrow and my husband had Knee surgery this past Friday and I have been back and forth with care of both. I have had no time to take hardly a breather.

I decided to take a moment to sit down and do my legal work, when I decided to take a look a the board and EUREKA, YOU HAVE DONE MUCH WORK AND MS. DOUGLAS. I am grateful, so grateful for both of you and honored that you are working our line.
I have our records with intertwining of your records, it appears that their is one ADAM with two lines, there must have been two marriages, as I stated before, because there is intertwinment, and our PATRICK CAME FROM ADAM CAIN(e) AND THE FAMILY WAS IN OWNERSHIP OF LAND, SO the PATRICK YOU HAVE WOULD HAVE BEEN IN THE GENERATION BEHIND OUR PATRICK SR. PATRICK JR, WAS KILLED IN THE REVOLUTIONARY WAR, OUR LINE BY FATHERHEADS:

WILLIIAM 1600 , THE PROGENITOR, KK MICHAEL

PATRICK CAIN(e),WILLIAM'S ONLY SON, BORN MARCH 16,1616, KK MICHAEL

PATRICK'S CAIN(E) SON
JOHN CAIN, ONLY SON, BORN, MARCH 9,1640
KK BALLAUGH PARISH

JOHN CAIN(E) BORN 1640, HIS SON'S
ADAM, ADAM WAS BORN MARCH 16, 1669, KK MICHAEL
PATRICK, AUGUST 7, 1672, KK MICHAEL

ADAM CAIN(E) BORN MARCH 15,1669
MARRIED ANNE CORLETT, AT KK MICHAEL PARISH

MS. COAKLEY YOU FOUND ADAM MARRIED TO ELINOR (STOEN) STEPHAN, IT APPEARS THERE ARE TWO MARRIAGES ONE TO ELINOR (STOEN) STEPHEN AND ONE TO ANNE CORLETT.

THE CHILDREN YOU HAVE WITH ADAM CAINE AND ELINOR (STOEN) STEPHEN:

PATRICK CAIN(e) born JULY 17, 1712
PHILIPCAIN(e) TWIN, JULY 17, 1717
were just the twins. We had the twins and of course other children.

WE HAVE THE SAME TWINS IN OUR LINE WITH ANNE CORLETT AS THE MOTHER.

THE CHILDREN WE HAVE WITH ADAM CAIN(e) AND ANNE CORLETT:

JOHN CAINE, born February 27, 1703 at kk Michael Parish, married ANN CARRAN May 29, 1731 at KK PATRICK

Margaret CAIN(E) born Nov. 14, 1709 at kk Ballaugh Parish married JOHN QUGGIN , OCT. 6, 1737 at KK GERMAN

PATRICK CAIN(E) BORN JULY 17, 1712 AT KK BALLAUGH PARISH,
PHILIP BORN JULY 17, 1712, AT KK BALLAUGH PARISH DIED IN INFANCY, TWIN OF PATRICK
This the problem it appears, with the twins, so it can only mean to me, ADAM MARRIED TWICE, and it appears now from your findings this may well be true.

ELINOR CAIN BORN MARCH 25, 1713 AT KK MICHAEL PARISH

JONEY CAIN BORN 1715

ALL OF THESE CHILDREN ARE NAMED IN ANNE CORLETT'S WILL WHEREAS, STATED IN THE ADAM CAIN(E) ELINOR (STOEN) STEPHEN, MS. COAKLEY FINDINGS OF MARRIAGE WITH TWINS PHILIP AND PATRICK ONLY,ALSO, IT APPEARS THAT BOTH HAVE MARRIED TWICE AND THIS A BLENDED FAMILY, OUR PATRICK AND HIS SISTER ALCE ARE OFF ADAM CAIN(e) BALLACAINE AND LANDS, HE CAME OVER, OUR PATRICK CAIN SR AND HIS WIFE AND SISTER BEFORE THE 1800'S, HIS SON PATRICK JR, WAS KILLED IN 1781 IN THE REVOLUTIONARY WAR, THE PATRICK THAT IS BURIED, YOU SPEAK OF, WOULD HAVE BEEN HIS DESCENDANT.

As stated it is very hard pickings with this family but I do believe that your and our findings cross and intertwine, we are still missing some puzzle pieces. THE 1800 PATRICK IS WAY AHEAD OF OUR 1700 PATRICK WHO LEFT THE ISLE SO THAT WOULD BE A DESCENDANT OF HIS EXTENDED FAMILY OFF ADAM CAINE.

THEY HAD BALLCAINE when they were on the Isle and I did not have yet any success with finding the Bible, we are still trying to relocate it after the death of MISSOURI WALKER who had it her possession, the CAIN side had the Bible and then it went to the WALKER side of the family.

I have not been able to burn the midnignt oil due to all the maladies of my mother and husband as stated, we are set for APRIL, but the doctor is now stating MOTHER may have to wait one more month due to not being fully healed, I am waiting for her release tomorrow from the Nursing Center. So I called the Bed and Breakfast in LEICESTER to make the arrangements AGAIN, for one month later, if Mother is not well enough by then , we shall come on and come back to LEICESTER IN SEPTEMBER FOR HER VISIT.

I have not gotten the books sent due to all the illness of both, I went to put into the post but forgot them, so I shall get them to you and the Musuem as I am now somewhat stable in traveling to hospitals and nursing center.

Again what I have reviewed from both of your and our findings there seems to be an intertwinement of two marriages with two sets of children, whom their inherited lands of both families was passed down through the family lines.

I hope to clear all this up when I arrive.

Thank you again, it was wonderful to come the computer and go to the board, just to rest, and find both of you to have done such wonderful research, it was and is still is exhilirating and breathtaking, it is EUREKA, finally we can see some light in this tangle of the CAIN MYSTERY.

I am, as stated, grateful and honored that both of you are so gracious to take time and I know how hard research is and that makes me even more thankful for your research. Time is priceless and research is very expensive and I know how much, believe me. so I shall not forget your kindnesses. I thank Ms. Douglas who, I am honored to have you also research, it takes many to unwind this ball of yarn and I thank you so much for your endeavors of helping Ms. Coakley.

Kindly yours,

Mrs. Rosa, (Jonnie Cain)
