Here is the will of Hugh who d 1826
ARCHDEACON WILL Kirk Michael 1826 #33 FHL Film #0106244:
KK Michael October 6 1825. The last will of Hugh Caine of KK Michael being of sound disposing mind and memory at the making hereof.
I leave and bequeath to my son William the big cupboard and five shillings legacy.
I leave and bequeath to my son John fifteen pounds British as legacy.
I leave and bequeath to my son Thomas ten pounds British as legacy.
I leave and bequeath to my daughter Ellinor two pounds British as legacy.
I leave and bequeath to my grandson William Corlett my son-in-law's oldest son twenty four pounds which I have by a deed of mortgage in my said son-in-law's land.
Lastly I nominate constitute and appoint my loving wife, Mary, whole and sole executrix of all my goods chattels and effects of what kind so ever with one shilling to anyone seeming to have a right to claim in this my last will with five shillings each to the witnesses.

At a Chapter Court hoplden at KK Michael on the 17th day of Nov 1826-
Mary Caine the executrix named in the foregoing will is sworn in courtin form of law well and truly to fulfil the last will and testament ofHugh Caine deceased to pay all his just debts legacies and funeral
expences so far as the goods will extend and the law bind her and toreturn a full true and perfect inventory of his effects and an accurateaccount of all her transactions touching said estate into the
Ecclesiastical Registry when thereto lawfully required. And to theseends William Caine of the parish of KK Michael and Patrick Cannell ofBallaugh have entered into a bond unto the Lord Bishop in the sum of
fifty four pounds British bearing equal date herewith - Probate hereof isgranted unto the said Mary Caine. Will Roper.
I Thomas Caine of the parish of KK Michael do acknowledge to havereceived from Mary Caine the executrix of the last will and testament of
Hugh Caine late of the said parish of Michael deceased the sum of tenpounds Briltish being the whole amount of the legacy bequeathed to me
in and by the last will of the said Hugh Caine An d I do hereby releaseacquit and discharge the said Mary Caine her executors administrators
and assigns of the same forever. As witness my subscription this 10th
day of April 1828 Thomas Caine.

#0106737: Hugh Cain of this parish and Mary Kneen of this parish were married in this church by license this 6th day of January in the year of
our Lord one thousand seven hundred and eighty four.

This marriage was solemnized between us Hugh Cain and Mary Caine late Kneen my mark X
In the presnce of us Willm Caine farmer and Henry Kewley Clerk.

This is the will of Mary Kneen Caine who died 1838--will written in 1834
Shows that Elinor who md Wm Corlett in 1809 and Thomas are all in America by 1834.

EPISCOPAL WILL Kirk Michael 1838 FHL Film #0106438:
In the name of God Amen. I Mary Caine, widow, of Hugh Caine of
Orrisdale deceased being greatly advanced in age and decline of life but
of sound mind memory and understanding do make this my last will and
testament in form and manner following, making void and of no effect all
other former wills made by me this the fourteenth day of October one
thousand eight hundred and thirty four.
In the first place I commend my soul to God and my body to christian
burial.
Secondly I leave and bequeath to my son William Caine the clock he has
in his possession and ten shillilngs British as legacy.
Thirdly I leave to my daughter Eleanor Corlett the wife of Wm Corlett
now in America the sum of two shillings British.
Item: It is my express wish will and decree that the account of a
promisory note which my son William Caine owes me for the principal
sum of twenty nine pounds British be left as follows viz: I leave the said
principal sum of twenty nine pounds before mentioned to my son Thomas Caine who is in America in case he will come to the Island to receive and recover the same. Otherwise in case of his not coming to the island I leave the sum of twenty pounds of the said note to my executor here after named and the remaining nine pounds to my son William Caine -
And until my son Thos Caine will come to the island it is my will and
express wish that my son William Caine do pay to my executor as
interest out of the said note the sum of twenty shillings yearly -
Item: I leave to all cravers the sum of six pence British each.
Lastly I nominate ordain constitute and appoint my son John Caine whole and sole executor of this my last will and testament whether moveable or immoveable of all kinds and denominations. As Witness my name tomy mark the day and year before written.

At a Chapter Court holden at KK Michael 31st May 1838. The executor is sworn in court in form of law and hath given pledges for the payment of debts and legacies namely the witnesses to the wills . Probatum est -
