The last will and testament of Patrick Caine who departed this life the 28th March being of good and perfect memory in manner and form following:
First he committed his soul to God and his body to Christian burial.
Item he left unto his two eldest daughters two sheep a piece legacy and
to his two youngest daughter three sheep a piece legacy
Item to his son Hugh he left fifty shilling that he had in a piece of land as Mortgage and in case he should not come home betwixt then and Hollantide after his mother had sent him word the said fifty shillings
was to fall due to his wife and the rest of children.
Item: He nominated and appointed his loving wife true and lawful executrix of all the rest of his goods moveable and immoveable whatsoever
Item he left that Danl Croghan owed him a shilling
In the presence of Caine and Kerrad their marks Jurati Could not read
their first names
The executor sworn in court in form of law
Probatum est and Solvit 1 s
Pledges Wm Caine and Jon Caine in form of law.
