Re: Curphey fishmonger
In Response To: Re: Curphey fishmonger ()

Thanks J Gell, I am still uncertain I have the right person, but William the son of your great grandfather seems like a better bet age and time wise to me for the fishmonger Curphey I was looking for.Do you have any info for William the brother of your great grandfather that you mentioned?
The Curphey I was looking for would have died shortly after WW1 from the after effects of mustard gas(maybe a few years after), lived at some point on Nelson Street and married a woman from Hull. They had 13 kids - I listed the names of the ones I know of in my first post.On the offchance that this information corresponds with anything you know about either William Curphey or another Curphey, please let me know.

Did you find any link to the Ballakillingan Curpheys or the Minltown Christians in your line of Curpheys?

Did you find anything interesting in the Spencer,Callow,Knickle,Kinty,Goldsmith etc. families that married into them?

Thankyou.
