Hi Mary,

Many many thanks for that help. It is the right family, so that sorts out a long standing puzzle and dots the "i"s and crossed the "t"s.

The 8 yo Wm John Joughin Corrin is a new name to me. I knew the first Josephine Annie (b1868) had died (in 1870), but Jessie interests me. I can only assume that she was the second Josephine Annie (b 7/1873).

I have traced Mary Ann'd death in Chicago in 1891. As regards Henry William himself, he was baptised at St Mary's Castletoen on 28-April 1833, so the memorial should read born 26 April 1833 and NOT 1888, but they can often be fiendish to decipher.

I really do appreciate your help. Ordinarily I would not ask for a look up, as other people from far away have a greater need of this service, as I can get to the island, but with the two little ones, it will not be until Alexandra Amy is a few months old, and I wanted to know what this stone said.

many thanks

RObert
