Corrins in the States

Hi folks,
I have mentioned that my Mother's Corrin family mostly emigrated to the States in the late 1880s, but had no firm data. I recently struck lucky.

I had a look at the Illinois State Records on Line and found the following entry

Mary A Corrin aged 57 died Cook County, Chicago Illinois 18 Aug 1891 (Goodwin gave a date of 1891 but he is a bit iffy at times).

The Mary I am interested in was born as Mary Ann Joughin, and bap German 1-11-1835, her parents being John Joughin, mariner, born 1804 and Catherine Clucas. Mary Ann, who was sister to John Joughin MHK, who owned the fishing net factory, married Henry WIlliam Corrin, who was bap at St Mary's Castletown in 1833. (Parents Hen Corrin & Charlotte Chapman)

The couple emigrated to the states some time between 1887 and 1890, but I have no date yet. All the children went with them, but Christiana Frances, the eldest was already courting so returned to the Island and married Arthur Brown, date still unknown but c1889.
My guess is that it may a a Wesleyan marriage for Arthur & CHristine, but that is not proven. Christiana Frances was my mother's mother.

Going on to the US side, a John Powell Corrin (the names exactly match Mary Ann's son) married Ivy Muritta Ryer in Cook County in 1896, so it looks farily clear that these are the right entries. Family legend says that two daughters married German immigrates to the Chicago area, but that is as far we I go. Does anyone have any detail on the Chicago Corrin family ?

Finally, with Charlotte Chapman I came across the entry SABRA three times, against births, which I think means stillborn. Does anyone know ? There were twins SABRAin 1851 and she died five days later. Poor Charlotte is now my biggest headache, as she just appears in 1830 when she married at arbory, and born England c1810 is the remaining data.

Our older girl Anastasia, 19 mo, is trying to say the name of her sister (almost 1 month) and for Alexandra Amy, has come up with Akis or Akis-A. Not there but getting there !

best wishes to all.
