thanks for comments re Joughin family. I had got back to John Joughin who m Ann(e) Joughin as 2nswife after 1750 but have no marriage date yet.

I found her (anne's ) parents CHarles Joughin and Mary Cleator, but could not then access the link on them for some reason, probably becasue I did something wrong,

I believe Charles Joughin (bap Dec 1701, married 1722 to Mary Cleator was son of John Joughan and Bahee Lace, does this make sense to you ?

By the Way, my research of Fred Brew as I mentioned was for a book on IOM shipping, and I would like to be able to include the names of the folks who have helped me re Fred Brew in the acknowledgements.

The Joughin research is my own tree, which had now become a very large bush !
