Using the indexes of BMDs for England and Wales I can get back only as far as your grandfather John Charles V (for Victor?) Joughin. It is good that you can go back to your great-great-grandfather. With luck, by then we should have reached someone born on the Isle of Man, with a chance to link him to one of the Joughin lines there. Could you start, please, with these ancestors. Do you have names, dates of birth, and any places? I am hoping that you are going to tell me that one of your ancestors was Cassandra Henry, in which case, you are someone that I have been hoping to hear from for some time.
