Re: Heaney/Hainey/Hennan/Heeney

Hi Marie
Thanks for the info, but I'm not sure of the connections?

I found Robert Heaney 5 Water Lane Douglas, mason's labourer, Lodger (though status married, no wife appears at that address) b. Ireland, and I am certain he is my Robert.

I have looked, but can't find Ann Heaney (was that the spelling used?) and having read your post, I'm not sure if, or how these Heaney's link? Ellen and Daniel were parent's of Michael and Patrick - they seem to be Ann's parents too, though she was a servant (at 11 years old!) in the same street. Do any of them link to my Heaneys? It would seem coincidental that all those Heaneys were congretated in the same area if they weren't related, but I guess it happens, especially in view of the time being early 1850s, so they could have all fled the potato famine of the 40s)

I found a Patrick Heaney married to Ellen Loughlin and a Philip Heaney married to Rebecca Green - they are on Brian's site, as the births of their children are recorded. Do you know if these Heaneys are related to you, me, or for that matter - are you and I related?? :-)
