I think I descend from Richard via my mother and her mother. I think his son William born in Liverpool may have returned to marry Anne Killey on the Isle of Man and then had a son John James in 1857. It doesn't all add up as John James has his father listed as John James on his marriage certificate but I cannot find that John James ejther in Liverpool or IoM
I am on IoM for 2 days so visiting Andreas etc and I shall look for the book Frances recommends. Thanks to all
