Relationship between pre-1702 and post-1702 numbering within Manorial Rolls

Note although MR is used as a convenience to indicate the post 1702 rent rolls, LA for pre 1702; all records are strictictly Manorial Rolls found in the Libri Assed.

Basis is the 1702 Roll and the 1706 + 1709 rolls - some are conjectured but seems obvious that the construction of the post 1704 rolls was done by grouping the tenancies held by individuals. In a few cases rents on two properties appear to have been merged - it is possible that these were for earlier enlargements (though most of these appear to remain included in the Intacks).

Some properties have not been mapped as I have not felt able to make a guess; also the rentals do not seem to add up though the 1702 figures agree with the published total the 1706 MR figures appear to be somewhat adrift - it was noted in the MR that the total was £2 3 10½ (526.5d) with old book (ie 1702) £2 4 3½ (531.5d) of which 2s 4d (28d) was in the Lords hands leaving a short fall of 6d (5d ?) (? caused by ommission of #66 and #83) also an error in #48 (2d entered instead of 4d) was not corrected until 1819 roll!.
