Manorial Roll 1706 – German Cottages (Peel)

 

NB #17 of later rolls was missing also the court house was numbered 23 in this book; also numbered was the house near the cross (#43 in this roll) - thus putting all subsequent numbers out, #66 of later rolls is also missing (thus all subsequent #'s are out by 1) - this transcription however keeps to the subsequent numbering for ease of comparison.

Mace (or Maec) Moar is indicated as north of Tynwald Mills - some 3 miles from Peel, however they have headed the list since the list was re-organised c.1575.
