Manorial Roll 1702 – German Cottages (Peel)

Note this was the last roll using the old numbering scheme before the 1702 Act of Settlement, after which a new numbering was adopted - this later numbering was based on grouping properties under the tenant's name, see elsewhere for the mapping between sequence numbers.

The original appears to have been amended as changes are noted in a different? hand - these are indicated (..); some licence has been taken with the odd bits of latin (eg 'et' usually given as &). Several names are very difficult to read.
