These appeared as a weekly series of article in the Peel City Guardian, Sept 1901- March 1902. The author was George Goodwin, who, with his brother, kept an extensive scapbook of genealogical history of many Manx families. He lived in Peel — hence the emphasis on Peel within these chapters.
