Hi Susan
I've been looking through old messages searching for mention of a William Fell b circa 1800 who was born on the IOM and went to live in Liverpool where at least 2 of his children were born. In 1861 he had a wife named Mary b circa 1804.

Oh, great tip - thank you! I'm now on the hunt for the oldest Fell child, William. He may be the one who married a Mary McVey in 1825 on Isle of Man, but I do not find record of his death on the IGI or in Brian Lawson's wills.
I've accounted for all of the rest of James Fell's children: Thomas, Elizabeth and Margaret all married at St. Nicholas in Liverpool and it appears that the youngest, James, died of cholera along with his parents in 1832.

I'm looking for the parents of a James Fell b 1840/1841Liverpool. He married Ann Jane Cubbon b 1843 Douglas (parents William Cubbon and Ann Clucas) in 1870 Braddan. This is James in censuses 1861-1891:
