In my tree John Skillicorn who married Margaret Fargher died as the result of an accident at Laxey mines in 1873,he was aged 50 years.Apparently John Skillicorn owned a lot of land around King Orry Lonan and leased the land for building houses.
The Fargher's also owned land around Clybane,
Who owns it now?
