I have a problem with a couple of your points.
Have you seen how Antelle IT Ltd has set up the IOMFHS website? It is fussy, the print is unclear, and it is difficult to navigate. Paul is trying to look after the Forum yet is unable to remove empty messages.

I like this Manx Genealogy message board, and although there are a few things which could be improved, on the whole it works very well. I would like to keep it where it is. Besides which, we can't just take ownership. And to answer one of your concerns, I was told that their live servers, isleofman.com and isle-of-man.com (located off Island), are backed up every night, and copied to 3 on-Island local servers.
