I think Edward will be the one bp 24 Apr 1799 St Mathews Douglas, son of Daniel GELLING and Catharine [surname "COTTEEN"] who married 16 Feb 1790 at Malew.

I also think Daniel will be the one bp 7 Jun 1761 at Jurby, son of Paul GELLING and Jane GELLING, who married 27 May 1756 Maughold. There are several children born to Paul Gelling and Jane (no surname given), all the way up to Alexander bp 29 Sep 1785 at Marown. There could be two different wives named Jane here, or even two different Paul's for that matter. However, this looks like a good fit and worth checking further to see if it all passes the test.
