Thank you Donna. This MI certainly confirms ELEANOR ANN as being the w/o Edward.

There is a Will entry on Brian's site for Mary Gelling dated 1846 in Braddan and I will have to have a look at this film to see if it refers to 'my' Mary. There is also a Will listed for a Jane Gelling (nee Cannell) in Braddan, but dated 1848. That is a 16 year lapse from the date of her supposed death; I realize some Wills took years to finalize, but this seems excessive. I'll look at this film as well to determine.
