Re: John Crow/Eliz. Christian m. 1787

Thank you for your solution to the issue of 'Vashtee' Frances. This is very exciting that a tree should have Manx Gaelic incorporated in it. Has anyone found this before? Who prepared this tree & when?

1. I have a problem with John marrying Ann Goldsmith. According to my research this John was baptised Lezayre 27 February 1788 & was the son & heir of John Crow and Margery Corlett of Balleigh, Lezayre. John junr sold Balleigh 8th March 1825 and thereafter lived in Ramsey. He did die 1851 and was buried 27 October. His son James was the famous coachdriver who figures in one of Hall Cain's novels.
2. William Corkill was buried at Lezayre 7 July 1829. His widow remarried to William Christian. There is an administration of the estate of William.
He had a daughter Christian by Rebecca, but I cannot find a baptism. Granny visited her as a very old lady. My grandmother was b. at Andreas 1884.
3. I think we need to establish what appeared in the Family Bible and what was added to the tree by later researchers, who might have made the wrong links.

Thank you all for your help.
