In Response To: Re: Thomas BREW ()

I have Thomas Brew as probably the son of Thomas Brew shoemaker & shopkeeper at 17 Clement St in Baines 1824 directory and in Goores 1829 Liverpool directory.
Thomas Brew married Ermine widow Payne born 1765 Northwich, Cheshire
13 Dec 1802 St Peter, Church St, Liverpool
Both of the parish. Marriage witnesses Wm Morgan & Abrm Critchlow.
Widow living with widowed daughter at 1 Pleasant Grove in 1851 census - 2191 F112A.
son Thomas bapt 10 May 1807 St Peter, Church St, Liverpool

Thomas snr I have as possibley the son of joiner Thomas Brew & Ann Wilkinson married 6 Nov 1774 St Peter, Church St, Liverpool. Thomas was buried 13 Jun 1785 St Peter, Church St
son Thomas bapt 20 Jan 1782 St Peter, Church St, Liverpool

I have notes I picked up from somewhere (I think it may have been the Brew site) on Scouse Brews being descended from "John, baptised 1721, son of William Brew, tailor of Andreas, descended from the Guilcaugh family. William was the youngest child of Philip of the Lhen, great grandson of Philip Broow." Thomas the joiner is supposed to be Johns son but there is no baptism for him, though there is for a son John.

There is an Infra will for Caesar Brew of Liverpool, mariner Admon 1755
Caesar married 5 Feb 1723 Margaret Webster at Huyton.
