My grandfather Joseph Daugherty immigrated to Canada in 1903 with his wife Clara and his twin brother Philip. Your friend Frank may be a relative of Philip or one of the other six members of Philip and Joseph's family. Two or three other brothers or sisters immigrated to Austrailia, South Africa and America. Joseph Daugherty had four daughters in Canada. Philip returned to IOM shortly after 1903.
We would need more information such as what years your friend Frank attended Michael School and possibly who his parents were.
