Wm Garret with consent of wife Ann Garrett als Christian settled personal Estate part of the quarterlands of Ballacowle Lezayre and that part of that intact being part of Llaghagh [+uys] on Firr Moss together with the rest and residue of the whole of my personal estate. John is their only support in their infirm state and declining years John to reside with them and to till and cultivate the land. At Ramsey 18 Apr 1829 Wm and Ann Garrett both signed with their x. John Quilliam and John Kneale witnesses both signed their their names.cannot make out last sig John Cari***** ( Their son John married Elizabeth Crowe of Maug Oct 1827. Wm was with them in 1841 census at Ballacowle. Wm died Dec 1841.)
