Re: Mylrea site
In Response To: Re: Mylrea site ()

I've a bit more to add (+ a couple of corrections eg Ballaquaile is 4s rent not 4d) but looking thro my long list of unsummarised deeds found this SSS May 1744 69 in index as Cha Mylrea to Tho Bell + Joney Mcylrea
dated 3 Jun 1739;recites that by bill of sale dated 6 Feb 1722/3 John Mcylrea(Fildraw) sold part of Fildraw Faie to his son + dau which is now in hands of Tho Bell and the rest in hands of Thos Mcylrea's widow and now Chas Mcylrea gson of sd John pretending a right and has taken the law. To prevent any law suits Cha Mcylrea junr accepts £3 from hands of Tho Bell and Joney Mcylrea and sells the foresd parcel or part of Fildraw faii sold by my gfa;Witt Patt Crellin, Wm Stole;

Is Joney thus the widow of Thomas the gson of John or Thomas the son or whom ?

Fildraw seems to decend Thos to John to Charles (wife Margt) to Charles (wife Mary Bridson) - Inote you stated Martin was of Fildraw did I miss this as I don't seem to have noted this.

I do have the 1750 abbeyland rental which seems to show much subdivision
