Hi Mary, It would seem we are related William would be my great grand uncle, his brother Evan my great G/F i think the reason he migrated to Australia is he may have found work hard to get after a very bloody strike in Leadville in the 1890s in which he seemed to be a leader, i found he sent his family back to the UK for 9 months while it was on but not sure if they went to Whitehaven or IOM,
I am gradually working out who my Christian links are and hope to get over to have a look in the next 18 months, was in the UK and Ireland in August checking my ancestry in Gloucestershire and Wiltshire and could not get the time to visit but priority next time.
