Thank you Peter for your expert help. The detailed refs .are very welcome. Today I drove to Hibernia found The Hibernian [Cottage] , much extended , I suspect on the north side of the
junction where the single track road leads to the Mountain Race Course. Going down hill just a short distance I found a newbuild large traditional style house labelled Ballavelt & assumed that was where the farm had been but the next entry leads up hill up a tarmac path to the original farm. As there was no sign KEEP OUT I risked it. I suspect the other farmmentioned ---no name on lane may now be a very smart country house property. Back to the maps.
