Re: George Day 1841 Census.
In Response To: Re: George Day 1841 Census. ()

I checked George DAY in the 1911 census. He was with his parents and sister Edith at 2 Kensington Road Lane Douglas IOM, and this has him as aged 24, Single, and a House Painter (the same as his father), and born Douglas.

ManxBMD.com has strange marriage entries for a Phyllis DAY otherwise CAMP, and vice versa. They have two entries, which seems odd:
Year Surname Name Parish/Town Where Married Page Entry Register
1934 Day O/w Camp, Phyllis Dora Kitchener, Ramsey St Thomas' 533 COE
1934 Camp o/w Day, Phyllis Dora Kitchener, Ramsey St Thomas' 535 COE

You may need to buy the cert(s) from the Registry to find out who her father is given as, and who she married. www.gov.im/registries/general/civilregistry/
