I did not really investigate any families who came to the US after 1850. So probably not much help.

(1) There is a William Joughin, born about 1840, died of typhoid fever buried October 17, 1883 aged 43. He married, in Cuyahoga County, February 24, 1875, Elizabeth Harrison, daughter of William Harrison and Catherine Wade. Elizabeth was born in Warrensville, Ohio, May 6, 1846.
