Re: Legal Eagles opinion please

We may be looking at a case of undue influence.or the like. Elderly parents were prevailed on by children to execute various deeds of gift of their non-heirship lands in favour of multiple children. These children were 'mere volunteers' and the law was settled in my Great-Great GFrandfather's law-case "The Arderry Case" (1850's) which decided that volunteers took priority by registration not by date of gift. This was undecided in 18th c.I should think it likely there will be the beginnings of a law case in Liber Plit just after the parents died. The Composition sounds like the younger children were bought off in some way, probably to compromise litigation.
