Re: Is Anyone Looking for......??

Thanks Frances.
This is the family I thought might be mine and I thought I had looked for a Will for Isable Clague Kewley but it seems not as I didn't actually have her date of burial. [Which I find was 10 Jan 1769].
I have looked at Lib vas and comp book which seems to take the Kewleys back to Kerroo Dhoo alia Begoade in 1593 but although I've made notes they make absolutely no sense to me whatsoever. Is there a leaflet available to help with interpretation ?

I have Daniel as the eldest son of Wm & Isable Kewley and the land went to him. AIl the children were named in Wm's Will.
Stephen married Cathrine Skillicorn at Lonan and their first child was John 1753 followed by Philip 1756 bap Lonan.
Just discovered that John son of Stephen was buried Onchan sept 1771 {age 18]. So Philip would be next in line but that was after Isable's demise.
Now I'm stuck - don't think I had looked at SSS - looks as though that is the next port of call.

Thanks again Frances - setting this down has helped to get it clearer in my cluttered mind !!
