The christening date for Elizabeth is as you say, however this does not determine her dob which is what I'm seeking. Census and immigration records show dob from 1821 to1826, however she had to have been born prior to 15 Sept 1821 (christening). I have her father,Robert Oates occupation as joiner/shipwright on census, marriage and Will records, and his marriage to Mary Thomson took place in Liverpool. I have nothing to indicate my Oates family resided in Santon; all particulars show Douglas. Thanks for your input Frances.
