Olive Qualtrough-Robert Hudgeon

I wonder if anyone could help me make a connection between Olive (Kermode) Qualtrough and Robert Hudgeon. Specifically, the fate of Robert Hudgeon.

I have a Robt Hudgeon b. abt 1857 in Lonan and resident there in the 1861 and 1871 census, then at Conchan (with a sister Elizabeth) in 1881. There is a marriage for Robert Hudgeon age 34 to Catherine Clague, age 23 at Malew 26 Jul, 1881 (see comment later re: his age and marriage location). Then children born (mostly in Lonan and Douglas): 1882 (William), 1884 Robert/Thomas?), 1889 (Annie May, died 1890).l Robert & Catherine appear in the 1891 Lonan census with children William, Thomas, Maggie M.; Additional children were born in Lonan: Charles Edwin (1893); Ethel Maud (1896). Catherine dies 30 Jan 1900 at Douglas age 42 and is buried at Lonan 2 Feb 1900.

In the 1901 Conchan census Robt is a widower with children Wm, Margt May, Charles Edwin, Ethyl Maud and a Thomas Claque.

Robt Hudgeon marries Olive (Kermode) Qualtrough at Braddan 26 Apr 1906.

In the 1911 Eng. census Olive Hudgeon, married, is with her daughter Margt Olive Qualtrough but no Robt Hudgeon. However in the 1911 Canada census there is a Robt Hudgeon (54) in Red Deer, Alberta, Canada with sons Wm (27) and Robt (25). In the 1916 Bow Valley, Alberta census Robt Hudgeon (58) is with wife Catherine (55) and children Wm (32); Robt (30; Margt (25), Charles (23), Ethel (20). Is this a "new" wife Catherine?

With the exception of the age of Robert Hudgeon at the time of his marriage to Catherine Clague (34 rather than 24) and possibly the marriage location (Malew vs Lonan or Conchan) and the (re-) appearance of a wife "Catherine" in Canada, while he was married to Olive Qualtrough in England), the names and ages of the people involved are consistent. Is it possible the Malew marriage and Robts age is wrong, or there is another marriage from Lonan/Douglas?

Does anyone have any information which may prove or disprove this trail?
