I'm still trying to get back on the Shimmin side as well and as I now know Wm Quine bought Croit ny Harra which he then settled on his two daughters Christian and Ann. I'm wondering if Wm Shimmin's family had property anywhere. I started looking at Patrick Shimmin but then got sidetracked so need to go looking again.
