illeg child John Dumbell + bapt Rushen 18300221 - Jane Davidson is presented for fornication in 1830 but no record I can see of her affiliating the child. Remember the Manx knew child by father's name.
The main Dumbell family on Island was George w Dumbell (see entry on Manxnotebook) but no John in this family. There was a branch of this family in Flint North Wales but basically they were from Liverpool + Warrington area on Lancashire/Cheshire border
