Re: Corlett families of northeastern Ohio

Hello, Peter,

The short answer to your comment that I have made no progress since 2006 is yes! you are right. Life, in the form of health issues, and other major projects, has gotten in the way of this Ohio Manx project, and I am just getting back to it.

I very much appreciate your comments and corrections.

I will respond in pieces, as I get my head around what you are saying...

Re the family of Daniel Corlett and Catherine Quirk

1. Is Daniel, indeed, the son of John Corlett and Margaret Caine?

2. I think you are telling me that the known children of Daniel and Catherine are as follows:

a. Margaret chr October 11, 1807, dy
b. Catherine chr Oct 11, 1809. buried August 26, 1847. Married Philip Brew. 3 daughters
c. Ann chr Dec 12, 1811. Emigrated. Married, in Ohio, John C. Radcliffe
d. Daniel chr March 23, 1817.

3. But if the quote in the Cleveland history is correct, that Daniel K. Corlett came to cleveland in 1835 with his brothers William, John, and Philip, we still need to find these three brothers.

Thanks again for all of your information.

More later.
