Re: More Skillicorn's LYDIA OLLIER

Hi there, Lydia OLLIER's parents were George OLLIER and Eliza OLLIER (Nee OLLIER) George and Eliza were cousins as I remember in my research, Lydia also had a sister Elizabeth Ellen OLLIER who also ended up in the Isle of Mann I think she married a John Thomas NICHOLS.
I think that Lydia and William were In Wales and also Durham on a couple of the census.
You can trace Lydia's ancestors back to around 1572 by going to my family history website, just Google Ollier Cheshire Genealogy and you should find it ok, it's a freepages rootsweb site, please note that
my email adress on that site is no longer in use.

When you get to the home page scroll down to the "Full GEDCOM" link and enter there, there are about 1200 OLLIER's on there, the quickest way to find Lydia and her family is to click on the letter "D" then look for DAVIES, this should return a Ann DAVIES born 1816 at Middlewich, click on that and down the page returned you will see her son George, this will take you to Lydia...sounds complex but it is'nt.
I have a full worldwide subscription with "Ancestry" if you need any lookups let me know.

Lawrence.
