As Jean points out it is difficult to comment without a clear and concise overview - it would seem you have not prompted any family member by your postings thus if you want the comments of those who have some more general experience of Manx genealogy then you need to indicate what points you are interested in - from many years of teaching I have found that requiring a student to prepare a concise description of the problem often leads to self elucidation - certainly it makes it easier to see where the block is (for example others might suggest as yet unexplored avenues of research)
