Does anyone know in the history of the Isle of Man if there was anything that may have happened to cause a family to go and live there from Warwickshire.

Sorry to be so vague but I was wondering if there was anything significant that would of made a lot of people from Warwickshire move there.

One of the family members was in England for the 1871 census and then married on the Isle of Man to a local girl, on the next census he was a boarding house keeper until he moved back to England where he died some years later.
