Not unusual for mother or wife to be excluded from this. My Manx g.grandfather's funeral notice (in Brisbane Qld) made no mention of his wife or children, but simply that he was the brother of (two Manx) ..... and the funeral left from one of their homes. I thought it most unusual when I found it, but considering the times, women didn't rate much.
