Sorry I haven't been monitoring the messages for a bit. We are re-inventing the wheel to some extent because Gerald Corlett has spent years assembling masses of stuff on your very family. It seems like you come from the senior line of the family that inherited and sold B-J-M.

Both Gerald and I come from earlier generations of B-J-M Gerald is in direct male line from a younger son Philip and I am in female line from an Eleanor. Her dates were 1787- 1854. She was a daughter of Thomas Corlett of B-J-M and Isabella Corlett of Ballamona Beg (BMB). This was the second marriage for Thomas, his 1st was to a Wilks. My grandma was sure she was related to Lady Buchan, but it was a bit convoluted.
Thomas's dates were 1754-1796, and his parents were Thomas Corlett and Elinor Lace. This is the best documented and most well-to-do part of my family tree, and each generation married another quarterland family. The Laces were of Ballavarrey, Andreas, and were cousins of the Laces of Ballavoddan! Name dropping now, as the cousin John was Deemster Lace.
