I think I have your grandmother in my family tree. Margaret Irving Bridson was born in Whitehaven, Cumberland England about 19th December 1897. Her parents were Joseph and Mary Elizabeth (nee Kitchen) Bridson. Grandparents, Thomas and Margaret (nee Irving) Bridson. Gr. Grandparents, William and Hannah (Varley- nee Stamper) Bridson. William was born in 1809 in the Isle of Man - probably Malew, but I have been stuck on this for some time now. The siblings I have found are Mary Agnes (b. abt. 22nd November 1896), Thomas (abt. 14th October 1900 - 8th October 1948) and Frederick William (abt. 19th March 1905 - 9th March 1943). Joseph was my Grandfather's brother.
