I suspect that some people are overdoing this Viking stuff.It's fashionable I suspose and easy to sell to Americans and Australians of Manx descent.
However as a Manx speaking person from a Manx family born and brought -up on the Island I am quite sure that overseas Manx will find that there is more to be found in the Gaelic language and culture (into which the small numbers of Norse assimilated rapidly)than some self-serving contributors who do genealogical work for money and who are fishing for business.Gow carail,nish!
