Suspect much of 'blood' was actually from the outlying isles which the Norse used as a stageing post en-route for Dublin and the IoM - this would be a mingling of Norse + Gael - however as Man has been buffeted by many incomers in the 1000 years since I suspect that all Manx born carry some genes from the Norse
