Re: fargher/faragher
In Response To: fargher/faragher ()

Joan's message has hit my own family tree. Philip Faragher was born in Lonan about 1771. Married Elizabeth Kewley on 9/4/1796 in Lonan. She was born 9/4/1769. Her parents were William Kewley (b 1723) and Elizabeth b? and they married on 26/1/1721 or 1722.

Philip and Elizabeth had at least three children that I have found. William b 1798 and John b 29/11/1807. John had a son Edward b 1856. The daughter was Elizabeth, b 1811 who married John Quine 11/8/1832. John Quine is my GGG Grandfather. My Grandmother Quine became Clarey and my Mother Clarey became Sharrock.

The 1881 Census records show the following information for Sophey,

If this helps anyone, let me know and I can let you have the rest of the tree.

Regards,
